The origin of this project lies in LoginEKO's vision of providing healthy food for everyone. In a world where we face unsustainable depletion of natural resources, LoginEKO is creating sustainable solutions to facilitate the transition to a sustainable food system.
In the small town of Novi Knezevac in the North of Serbia, we designed a place where all this comes to life. A place where people come together and work towards a healthier future.We were guided by two main principles:
1. clear and coherent architectural expression
2. a harmonious relationship between nature and our contribution to it.
Following the first principle, the buildings are characterized by flowing lines, light colours and clear relationships between the various functions. Working closely with the client, we were encouraged to apply the principles of Feng Shui.
We achieved an optimal building arrangement by carefully aligning the buildings with one another, making sure there will be no obstacles to the free flow of energy. The whole complex is fused with its surroundings through fine adjustment of the angle to the north-south axis and by forming specific “green corridors” streamlining movement towards the main building.
From this point on, the project now embarks on its journey towards realization in which all these ideas will be put to the test on a scale of 1:1.
